Winter Sports Cover From £18.37**

If you are taking a skiing holiday or a winter break then don’t forget your travel insurance.

Cover4travel can offer a winter sports policy that includes cover for activities such as:

•          Skiing,
•          Snowboarding
•          Snow sledging
•          Guided cross-country skiing (Nordic Skiing)
•          Mono skiing
•          Off-piste skiing or snowboarding (in areas designated safe by resort management)
•          Recreational racing

By selecting the winter sports cover you will also get cover for:

Ski Equipment: Covers you for accidental loss, theft or damage of ski equipment that you own or have hired up to £500.

Ski Hire: Covers you in the event that your own ski equipment is lost, stolen or damaged; or delayed in transit for more than 12 hours on your outward journey from the UK. You can claim £20 for each 24hr period you are without your own ski equipment up to a maximum of £500.

Ski Pack: Cover you up to £300 if you are unable to use your ski pass, tuition or ski hire due to being involved in an accident / or your sickness / or the loss or theft of your ski pass.

Piste Closure: The insurer will pay £20 for each complete 24hour period up to £200 you are unable to ski due to a lack of snowfall or adverse weather conditions during the months of December to March inclusive (April to October in the southern hemisphere) at your pre-booked wintersports resort.

Delay due to avalanche: You are covered up to £100 for additional travel & accommodation expenses, if your return journey is delayed by at least 12hrs beyond your scheduled departure time as a direct result of an avalanche in your pre-booked winter sports resort.

Please note:

• Single Trip: The maximum duration on a Wintersports single trip policy is 122 days if aged 73 years or under at the time of purchase or; 38 days if aged between 74-79 years at the time of purchase.
• Annual Multi Trip:  Wintersports is limited to 17 days per annum.
